one can dream

"i should quit solo piano and focus on duo" :)
playing duets is just about one of the greatest enjoyments i can have these weeks
allows me to focus not only on myself but someone else, to harmonize, to be in sync, to hear wonders as there are 20 fingers instead of 10 running at the same time.
even though playing in the dark is not a feasible thing to do, its fun all the same. its also a challenge, for its akin to closing your eyes throughout the piece. yet, what comes out is sharper? less clean, more mistakes, yet even more, as only the sound of piano keys and darkness surrounds the place.
for that moment, one can forget about the mundane, and dream.
