sunday was a great family day!
received a happy house keyboard cushion from secell as an early birthday present, thanks!
jinjun came over, did homework and talked. thanks for the unfinished chocs that are still in the fridge. haha, they are still edible.

jinjun then left and my family and i went to the kopidiam infront of thomson medical centre to chi1 za2 cai4 fan4. there were so many dishes that we ate till we're bursting and still there was lots more food left. dabao leftovers and went to PS, everyone of us. mum and dad went to best denki to find a tv small enough to fit gm's room as her tv's spoilt. bro, gugu, siti and me went to yamaha to look at the U1 piano which jinjun's father recommended. our lipmann piano of around 8 years has to be changed..as the C and B keys got stuck sometime in the year for the first time(it became alright) and the sound of specific keys such as high G# A and A# comes out jangling everytime after the pedal is pressed. btw, the nitty details are just for me to rmb haha.
we bought 2 books and the CD for ABRSM exam i may be taking next year. gosh, they are hard! i hope i'll be able to cope. somehow, i just do not think i'm up to standard, no matter how high my grade is.
bought cow cheese cake to blow and celebrate, price increased. hehe.

all throughout dinner, i was feeling so loved, so sheltered and cared for. thank God for placing me in this wonderful family. the prayer remains; one day all of my family would be saved through Thy's mercy and grace.

on monday, i became 14! received "Touchpoints" from bro. i am touched. thanks, and i hope that the book will go through many things with me, guiding me and all. from the blog, on behalf of the little sis. haha! in the afternoon, went to gm's place, met EeEe and benedict! he is so tall now, will definitely tower over me one day! made sushi, another pleasant and fun time.

at night, received news from cathlin and linda calling to wish me happy birthday, that steve irwin the crocodile man died. quite a shocking death, as he got stung straight into the heart by a stingray during filming, leaving behind two little children. though i've never watched his shows, he was a brave and unique guy, striking me as a really passionate conservationist(such word?). he seemed to be able to survive crocs and all kinds of dangerous creatures; it is really shocking that he is finally beaten.

well, finished maths hw and watched narnia. after so many times, i still think it is awwwesome!

today, had science lecture, then band. wanning was at remedial, sec 1s practicing outside, julia absent. i was cold, feeling so nervous to play alone, ms sia was back and we were playing yiddish! my goodness, i have not even warmed up or tuned! seriously, i was trembling throughout. you can hear when i played, i was trembling like a jelly. ms sia said my low notes didn't have good tone..sad. sigh, how to improve? i can't even hold a note for 4 4-beat bars! must breathe deep and long next time, till i puff up like a pufferfish. phew, we had break and wanning came back, so we played tgt. whee~saxy section unite!
