it was teachers' day today! early in the morning with my mom in the lift, a lady dressed in shirt and track pants came in. the funny thing was we found out that she was a teacher and as it was teachers' day, i wished her a happy teachers' day.

it was raining in the morning, quite cold and gloomy.
during the games session, yicen inez xinlin mingee and me all stayed in class. sadly, i didn't go to the sports hall to watch the games with ah ma(gesh) michy and chaRlotte, or i wld've enjoyed the sight! hahaha. however, inez xinlin and me wrote cards for each other!

after the games, we all went to the mph for the performances. it was really hilarious and interesting; during the games of guessing the teachers whose children's photos were up, the giving of gifts to tchers, the powerpoint slides with quotes from teachers (eg. mrs low: alright x10 to the power of infinity!:D) and the 'teleteachmes' performance put up by the new tchers. cheered like mad with magesh, ended up with hurting ears by her shrill scream! haha, but it was fun. i guess the tchers must have felt really touched by everything. afterall, they only get truely appreciated about once every year; the rest of the years aren't so smooth and 'happy' as it seems. anyway, hoped they had a good day too!

after the performance, went with xinying and may to BHPS. surprisingly, we cld go in. may and me were feeling so awkward and uneasy; i think it's just been too long since i met anybody at all, plus the fact that the principle never wanted us to go back after saying that we disturbed the teachers, that made me feel so unwelcomed. everything looked tiny in BH! the water cooler, the canteen stalls, the pupils (haha, not that i'm that big myself). saw aloooooot of ex-pupils, lots of them i've never seen before. sadly, for the primary students, it was a full school day with a big bunch of dances and other performances, so they didn't get to go off early.

i was disappointed with alot of things there.

ytd, i was feeling so light and happy as i thought i could see my old tchers, ask about what's happening and how they are..but when i reached there, the old teachers seemed to have been replaced by those young teachers. when i saw the strained looks of the OM and ..?(forgot the names), i felt so horrid. they were saying "nice to see yall back", but look, things have changed. i thought that once we went to sec school, this childish thinking that 'you're the best and everyone else are !@#$%' wld stop. but we came back and here we are, swearing, looking down on things, feeling worser and worser. oh gosh, i feel really confused! am i one of them? i really hope not.

furthermore, when we were standing behind the seats of some teachers at the right side of the hall, we were talking and pointing out familiar faces..and a teacher, looking unfamiliar and pissed, turned around and said something like "if yall want to chao2 (make noise), go to another place!" i heard that, and i hope i was wrong. if it was true.. let me say this: we didn't plan to destroy your day. we hoped to meet up with our old beloved teachers that we have not talked to for more than a year because of the silly rule(s) yall invented. we hoped to show that we remembered our teachers, that we missed them and loved them still. we wanted them to have a happy teachers' day. are we too much to bear? sigh.

we didn't even see ms choo T_T the (withering) flowers may have to go to waste.

anyway, after much 'hanging around' and thought, me and may decided to go with xinying to kaiyin's house to meet prida, xinyan, jasmine, huiqi, jared, derrick, zikai and kaiyin. chatted and joked about stuff, caught up with some things. only i will know what think about this.

sorry about all those sad stuff. on a brighter note, we saw mdm doreen tan! she was still quite the same, and she recognized may as "her name is a month!" haha. when i asked jokingly "so do you still remember me?", she replied "of course i recognize you lah! you are-ayyoh, forget the name." -.-! she said she'd retired already, and would leave singapore for ..? on 1 oct. i won't forget she used to pray for us before the start of exams, so i hope God bless her for the rest of her journey.
