bmt day with michelle xinlin charlotte yicen inez and michelle's churchmates today at siglap community centre from 1030 to 1330!

woke at 0645, left at 0740 with mum, walked to novena mrt and rode to j8 to meet michy and xinlin. haha, both xinlin and charlotte woke up at calls. for one and a half hours, we rode on 13 to somewhere around VS, east cost, that area. it was quite amusing as the longer we rode, the less people got on the bus and finally, only we 3 were left(other than the driver). since the whole bus "belonged" to us, we sat, stood, talked, watched tv mobile and (i) listened to music. as we neared inez and yicen's busstop, we told them to come up the next bus 13 they saw. the amusing thing that happened was we saw them, they saw us..the bus sped on without stopping at their busstop! haha, what happened? we saw them looking confused and we were as well. anyway, they took the next bus 13 and we all arrived safe and sound.

michelle went to the CC first, so we 4 waited for charlotte to come. did our maths homework and barred two long seats at the busstop(as there wasn't any people or much cars around). an old lady came over, and as yicen and xinlin were sitting at the empty seat, they immediately offered the seat to her, and we four squeezed together at the seat inez and me were sitting. the old lady(whom i think was grateful) started talking to us in english, asking which school we studied in and telling us about her old school where there were nuns, 'very good they were'. she then talked about her husband, but she was quite soft and the cars were quite loud, so i assumed it was that she married a chinese-malay husband, or something like that.
as we seemed busy with our work, she stopped and waited for the bus, making little talk here and there. i like talking to old people; they are interesting and they talk about the past, which is so different to the present. they have lots to say as well, and don't really seem to get bored talking to us.

she left soon and we hailed goodbye. charlotte came soon after and we 6(michy came back) walked to the CC.

met michy's churchmates, changed to pe shorts and went to play badminton. played with xinlin against yicen and inez(doubles). i have not played for a few years since p4-5, but my skills are still there! not good, but like i said, if my racket hit the shuttlecock i'll be happy. charlotte and michelle + michelle's churchmates were amazing! quote: aggressive! their hits were precise and accompanied by fast strokes, whirling backhands and loud jumps. they look so professional with many tricks up their sleeves! hahaha exaggerating, i don't know about tricks but they sure look like they know how to play! whereas we four were sending (high) shots to one another, until we were quite certain that we wld end up with hunched/bent-backward backs and necks craned to the ceiling. hahha, of course we didn't.

finally, xinlin michy yicen inez and i went to tamPINES mall and century(?) with the hope of watching click or any other movie, but were disappointed when all the movies were too late for us to watch. yicen and inez cld watch, so they went off and we seperated. michy went to meet (the finally met) G for bmt again; xinlin and me went back home. talked about the Bs and Cs and Gs and Hs, laughed, yawned, (i) read and (xinlin) slept for awhile. we were tired after the day!
