oh happy day~

back from swimming with yicen and inez at Jurong Swimming Complex last friday 07 july! it's been years since i last went there, it has changed much. let me write down in detail.

12pm came, and i still thought that it was the next period. ms thang didn't come for science, so i did science homework during her period(before the 12o'clock one). rushed to pack my bag, then walked out aljunied way with yicen, inez and xinlin. reached the swimming complex around 2 i think. we three changed to swimsuits and hid behind towels and humongeous floats. XINLIN! i'm sorry, i lost your goggles. see, i wanted to get on the float in the lazy pool, but lost my balance and fell flat on my back in the water..and the goggles slipped off my head, into the rushing water which continued rushing, with me being rushed with it frantically looking for it. ahlala i'm really sorry. but pls do not cry because of that! haha nono.

well, talking about the lazy pool, EHEM inez! something happened in the dark and enclosed compartment with water falling like rain ahh. :X nope i shan't say more!
in the last compartment at the end of the lazy pool, we saw rainbows in the falling "rain"! pity we could not take pictures in the water, it was really pretty! did not see the pot of gold at the bottom, perhaps it's been washed away~

the wave pool was superduper fun too! with the strong waves and mild "rain", again, we saw rainbows and twirling people on floats. stretched with yicen and spashed inez. on the wall, there was some dried up white substance. yicen thought it was salt and wanted to lick it haha! inez was even more imaginative, dried up pee eeek! hahaha you're dirty minded, you are! suntanned together, and now my back's all red. it hurt when wiped myself, and i'm quite black now! although nobody admits it, and i'm already back to normal.

we then played at the slides!!!!! WHEEE they are the BEST! the blue, the red and the yellow! screamed myself silly in all of them, especially the yellow which did not require a float. zooming down the stuffy hot slide made me remember the "Black Hole" in Fantasy Island in Sentosa when i was younger. reminiscencing the good ol' days, which i had admitted to my aunt and bro once this year that yes, those were the best days of my life.

back to now. we went to the children's playground "For 12 years and below". but we continued to play awhile, hiding in the plastic tube had a water fight. then we went to the cafeteria to have lunch. i ate the chee chiong fan with lots of mar-yiu, jiang-qing, sweet sauce and chilli. scuummlicious. we saw this Ah-Pek ice cream, cute name.

went to the normal pool to swim 1/2 a lap, goodness. all of us became so tired! plus inez not being able to see underwater with her eyes open, we were rather a sorry bunch there. but no sweat! we went back to the lazy pool, with the help of the rushing water, had the incident in the compartment :X and saw many round rainbows while swimming many rounds round and round!

we also went to the jacuzzi. inez and me were always unlucky, getting the massager with a weird wall jutting out just at the back, obstructing us. yicen always got the center and massager that shoots out directly! HAHA so i went to one after another center massager, only to get the wrong one everytime. we laughed and laughed, and when i got the correct one, guess what! the water there was the weakest! pratically just a nudge! amusing.

lastly, we went to the mushroom! just sat there leaning against the stalk, the wind blowing and water splashing. brr cold!

bathed and went home after having a last dip. all in all, it was funfunfun! i'll like to go again. before next year comes and we go our seperate ways, may we have days like BBQ day at michelle's house, going for movies, spilling popcorn and dipping them in cheese.
